AI2....The sister to AI1. It premiered in mid-January 2003 and ended in May 2003,but during that time it got mad reviews and high ratings. By the end of its 4 month season, AI2 had been top in ratings almost every week. 2nd place went to CSI.
Our top 10 were introduced on March 11. Knowing that they had a long path to follow and the winner had huge steps to follow, these Idols were more than willing to become superstars.
The cast was made up of 12 20somethings. Vanessa Olivarez from Georgia, Kimberly Caldwell from Texas, Ruben Studdard from Alabama, Clay Aiken from North Carolina, Kimberley Locke from Tennessee, Rickey Smith,also from Texas, Carmen Rasusmen from Utah, Corey Clark from Nashville, Julia DeMato from Conniticut, Josh Gracin from California, Trenyce from Memphis,and Charles Grisbey from Ohio.
