Kelly's point of view-
Its unchanny how sometimes you find love. I mean,sometimes its in a nerdy guy from high school,that is handsome ten years later. Or its that jerk that always teased you or made fun of your big rear end that turns out to be your husband. I agree with the saying that "Love is a many splendored thing". The thing is I'm not afraid of commitment...at least I don't think I am.
Here's a story that's sad but true. Its going to have some comedy and maybe even some romance. Anyway,it all happend to me and I want to share it.

Kelly Clarkson was scanning her brand new surrondings. She couldn't believe that she had been accepted into the Tri Sigma surioty. Her best friends Nikki,Tamrya,and Christina were all members and encouraged Kelly to join. Even though,Kelly was a freshman and all of her friends were sophmores she was well liked and accepted. Her cousin had just been accepted into a Fraternity. They were very close and were like sister and brother.

One morning,as Kelly was sleeping she felt a pillow in her face. She groaned and woke up.
"Who threw that?"
"Well,good morning sleepyhead.Did u like your wake up call?"
"Chris,that was not funny!"
"We're going to be late for class. I want to get a good seat so I can check out all of the hot new guys."
"Christina,are you sure that you and Nikki didn't trade bodies?"
"Why do you say that?"
"Because you just talked exactly like her!"
Kelly got out of bed,dressed and went downstairs with Christina. Some of the girls were still sleeping. The only ones awake were herself,Christina,Tamrya,Nikki and a senior named Britni.
Later-
"I can't believe that I got work tonight! Ugh! This so unfair",Kelly thought to herself after class was over. She had a busy schedule. Tonight she was working late and she had a huge report due on Friday. It was a great thing that it was Monday or else she would have not been a happy camper.

Today,just like always she went to Fazoli's to meet her cousin for lunch. He was already there when she arrived.
"Kellbell! Over here!"
Kelly followed the sound of her cousin's rather loud voice. At first glance,there was nothing alike between the two. Still,Kelly loved her cousin a lot and he was very important to her.
"How ya doing,AJ?"
"I could be so much better. I've got to close tonight at work and a ton of work for classes and stuff."
"Me two."
Kelly slid in the booth and sat across from AJ.
"You told me that you think you've found me a new boyfriend."
"Oh yeah.He's tall,dark,and if I was a girl I would say that he's hot. He's got a great sense of humor. Kell,its like he was a male verison of yourself."
"Stop pulling my leg,AJ.This guy can't be almost like me."
"He is.His name's Justin. He's a year older than us and is from the north."
"Were exactly?"
"Doyelstown. I forgot the state."
"Idiot. So,when do I get to meet this amazing guy?"
"You'll meet him tommorow night during my date with Amanda. You hooked us up so we're doing you two a favor and hooking you up,cuz."
"You really like Mandi?"
"Yeah. I think she's the one."
"That's sweet.Is Justin related to her?"
"Yeah. He's her step-cousin."
"Really?"
"So I guess I'll see you tommorow night.We'll swing by the house at 7:30,k?"
"Cool beans. See ya."
"Bye."
As Kelly drove back to her soroity,she thought"Heck.I'll give this friend of AJ's a chance.Who knows? Maybe I'll like him."
Chapter Two

That next night 6:45 PM-

Kelly anixously sat in the living room. She had never ever gone on a blind date before so her nerves were competely shot. She had never met this guy that AJ had hooked her up with. What if he was a rapist? What if he was just going to be for her for one night? She was confused.

Kelly looked beautiful. Christina had cruled her hair and highlighted it with some red. She was wearing a black skirt that came down to her knees and a pale blue v-neck,sleeveless blouse. She wore black highheels that had a heel that was two inches high.
"Kell?"
Kelly was startled to see Nikki.
"Yes?"
"Listen,um Amanda's gotten the flu. So its just going to be you and that guy that AJ hooked you up with.Okay?"
"Yeah.Fine."
"Kell,is something wrong?"
"Nikki,I'm nervous. I've never met this guy. What if he's a complete jerk?"
"Well,AJ set you two up so I suppose he wouldn't do that to his cousin."
"I guess."
Ding-Dong
"Someone's an early bird."
"Kell,its 7:15. What time was he supposed to come get you?"
"7:30."
"Maybe he just wants to spend some more time getting to know you."
"I guess."
"Have fun.Don't stay out too late."
"You're sounding like my Mom!"
Kelly stood up to answer the door. She opened the door and was eagerly surprised to see this tall,dark young man standing there before her. He was smiling a very nervous smile.
"Hi. You must be AJ's beautiful cousin that I've heard so much about."
"That's me."
He reached out his hand.
"I'm Justin."
"My name's Kelly."
She shook his hand.
"Well,I guess we should be going."
"Yes.We should."
He helped her down the front steps and to his Mustang convertible.
"Nice car."
"Thanks."
They got in. Justin started driving around. A very awkward silence filled the car. Both were nervous and couldn't believe that they had said yes to this.
Finally they got to a Chineese place.
"This okay?"
"Yeah.Its fine."
He helped her out of the car and they went inside.
After they got seated and ordered their food and drinks. It was time for introductions.
"So,Kelly why don't ya tell me a little about yourself?"
"Well,I was born and raised in Texas. My parents divorced before I was ten. My mom remarried. I've got an older brother named Jason and an older sister named Alyssa.Enough about little ol' me,what about you?"
"I was born in Georgia. My mother is white and my father is black. They divorced when I was young.My mom soon remarried and we moved to Pennsylania."
"Cool beans. You know when I first looked at you I was like Damn,Kelly he's hot."
''You think I'm hot?"
"Uh huh."
"You're abosutely beautiful."
"No man besides my father has ever told me that."
"Are you sure? I mean,look at you. I can't keep my eyes off of you."
"Oh hush."
The rest of the night went very smoothly. Kelly realized that Justin was a very nice man and she was learning to like him. Justin felt the same way about her.
He took her home at about 11:30. They went up the stairs to the front door.
"Thanks for a great evening.I had a lovely time."
"Me too.I guess I'll see ya around."
Justin turned and started walking down the stairs. Kelly's heart sunk as she realized this was her destiny.
"Justin...wait."
He turned around and came back to her.
"What?"
"I really like you. I know this is really awkward but would you consider being my boyfriend?"
"Yes."
"Without a doubt?"
"You're a great lady,Kelly. I like you,I really do.Um,do you want to go out again?"
"Sure. "
"How's next Saturday for you?"
"That's cool beans with me."
"I'll pick you up at around 4.We can spend the day together."
"That would be wonderful."
Before Justin turned around to leave. He took Kelly into his arms and lightly kissed her on the cheeck.
"See you around."
''Bye."
Kelly went back in the house feeling different,though she couldn't say why.

Two years later.....
Kelly yawned as she awoke to the sun beaming down upon her pretty face. She didn't want to wake up. It had been a nice night and she didn't want to forget it. AJ{her cousin} had finally purposed to Amanda. She accepted. Kelly and Amanda were like sisters. But the best thing that could possibly happen for Kelly was she and Justin were going steady.
Kelly smiled as she remembered and was alarmed to see Justin sitting on her bed near her warm body.
"Morning."
"Hey you. What in god's creation are you doing in a soritority?"
"I came to see you. You are so damn sexy when you are sleeping,did ya know that?"
"No. Thanks for the newsflash,Guarini."
"Oh well,you are so welcome.I was wondering if you would want to eat breakfest with AJ,Mandy,and me at Hardee's?"
"What time is it?"
Justin glanced at his watch.
"9:15."
"We can make it if we hurry. Are you ready?"
"Yupers."
"Strange,the fro isn't tame."
"Ouch. Don't hurt the fro's feelings. Drat,now its upset. You hurt its feelings.Bad,Kelly."
"Just teasing ya,baby."
Justin pressed his lips against Kelly's. Feelings that he had never had before came through his body. It wasn't the first kiss that they had shared,and definately wouldn't be the last.
"What was that for?"
"I love you."
"Aw. I love ya too,pooh bear."
"Pooh bear?"
"Just kidding!"

After breakfest,while Kelly and Amanda shopped. AJ and Justin were on their own. They were playing around at the batting cages when a thought that Justin had never had before crossed his mind. The night before had been amazing. He deeply was in love with Kelly. Hell,he wanted to spend many more amazing times with her.
When lunch rolled around,the boys went to a Hooters. Both were unsure about this,but since they were single still. It wouldn't matter. After they ordered their drinks,Justin had to ask AJ a question that had been buring a hole in his heart since that morning.
"AJ?"
"Yeah?"
"I need to ask you something."
"What is it,J?"
"I want to ask Kelly to marry me."
"Dude,that's great. But you should ask Kelly,not me. I know I'm cute and all,but I'm engaged to a girl."
"I know that.I just don't know when to ask her."
"Well,if I were you I would wait till Christmas."
"Its September."
"I know that. But you see she always visits her parents then. I have a strange feeling that she's gonna ask you to come along. Ask her father for her hand."
"It will work?"
"I think so. Jimmy's a nice guy."
"I know. I just don't want him to get the impression that I'm trying to make a move on his babygirl."
"I hear ya. Don't worry."

Justin and Kelly walked through the park that night,together without anyone else. Thoughts filled Kelly's mind.She had strong feelings for Justin. She was positive that he was the one that her Momma told her to wait for. She hoped Justin felt the same way.
When they got to Kelly's house,Justin came inside. They sat together on the couch.A small fire was buring in the fire place,burning like Justin's love for this beautiful woman.

That December.....

One morning,really really early Justin got a call on his cell phone. He grunted under his breath as he looked at the clock to see that it was only 4:15 AM. The phone's annoying ring kept playing.Justin couldn't stand it any longer and finally answered.
"Hello?"
"Just,baby is something wrong?"
"No Kell. I'm just really sleepy still. Its 4 AM. What are you doing up?"
"I couldn't sleep. You know how I am.Anywho,I was wondering if y'all wanna come down to Texas with me for Christmas."
That last phrase jerked Justin out of slumber. AJ said to wait till Christmas to purpose. This would be the perfect oppertunity to do it.
"Just?"
"Yeah. I'll come down to Texas with ya."
"Goody! Momma and Jimmy will love you!"
"I hope so."
"Well,that's really all I wanted to say. The plane leaves tommorow morning at 9. So be at my place by 6,k?"
"Sure,babydoll."
"Bye cutie."
"Bye."
"I love you."
"I love you too."

That next morning....
Justin was finishing his packing. His heart hadn't stopped leaping since the morning before. When they got to Texas,he would purpose to Kelly. He hoped that she would accept it. Before Kelly had entered his life,Justin felt terrible.His old girlfriend Melissa had passed away in a horrific car accident. Even though Justin had broken up with Melissa 5 months before the accident he still felt terrible and somewhat responsible.

He jumped in his car and drove to Kelly. Strangely,she was already awake and packed. From there,they drove to the airport.When they got there,Kelly went into the ladies room. Leaving Justin alone in the waiting area. He pulled a box out of his pants pocket and slowly opened it. Inside,was a small diamond engagement ring. The one he planned to give to Kelly.

They got on the plane and headed to Texas. When they got there,Kelly ran over to her parents. Justin was coming slowly behind her.
"Mom,Jimmy, this is Justin,my boyfriend."
Kelly's mother embraced Justin in a big bear hug.
"Kelly has told us so much about you,Justin. She says you're the love of her life."
Kelly blushed. Her brother Jason came up to Justin.
"You're Kelly's boyfriend? I'm Jason,her brother."
A young woman came up next to Jason.
"Oh,this is Alyssa. Our sister."
Once again,Justin was hugged.

Later,
While Kelly,Alyssa,and Kelly's mother were out shopping,Justin and Jimmy were alone. Jason was out on a date. This made this the perfect time to ask.
"Mr.Taylor?"
"Yes,Justin."
"I have to ask you a very important question."
"Sure,go ahead."
"Sir,I've known Kelly for two and a half years now. She's very special to me.I love her with all my heart. Whenever I'm around her,I feel really good about myself.You see,I lost my ex-girlfriend in a car accident two weeks before I met Kelly. Mr. Taylor,those two weeks were hard. I felt like commiting suicide a couple times,but after I met your daughter I felt complete again.What I'm trying to say is,I want Kelly's hand in marriage."
Jimmy was silent for a couple minutes. He turned to face Justin,with a smile on his face.
"Justin,you can marry her."
"Really?"
"Yes. She's very special to you and as a father I see that.Kelly loves you a lot.You're the best thing that's ever happend to her."
Justin showed Mr.Taylor the ring.
"Will she like it?"
"Its beautiful. I know she'll love it."

When Kelly got back,Justin took her outside onto the patio.
Gentle romantic music was playing.The moon was out,all the stars were shining. The snow was sparkling. It was time.
"Kelly,there's something I have to tell you."
Kelly's face showed alarm. She was worried.
"Listen,um I love you."
"Baby I love you too."
"You're very special to me. When I'm with you I feel safe and serene and happy."
Kelly's alarmed face disappered and she smiled. Tears were making her eyes sparkle.
"Kell,sit down."
She sat down in a lawnchair.
Justin got down on one knee.
"Kelly,will you marry me?"
He opened the box that had the ring in it. She gasped.
"Yes.I'll marry you!"
Justin placed the ring on her small delicate finger. It fit perfectly.
She jumped up and hugged him.
"We're getting married!"
They ran inside to her parents and brother and sister.
"Guys,we have to tell y'all something."
She paused.
"We're getting married!"

Shouts of happiness came from Kelly's family. It was a wonderful Christmas. Kelly was engaged,she couldn't believe it!
Chapter Five

Kelly's nerves were having the best of her. It was her wedding day. Justin wanted the wedding in August,and Kelly wanted it in April. They decided on a Saturday in May.
The night before,Kelly partied with her friends at her bachlorettte party. She had woken up that morning a little hungover but after she took an asprin she felt completely normal.

Kelly stared down at herself. Her white wedding gown was absolutely beautiful. She looked like an angel but didn't feel serene and calm. Her stepfather,Jimmy was standing next to her. It was her final moment as Kelly Clarkson. She was sad to see her childhood leave,but anxious to start a new life with Justin.

Then it was time,Kelly began her walk with her stepfather down the aile. She passed all of her family and friends. Her best friends were all waiting for her at the end of the aile. Each of them was wearing a pale purple bridesmaid's gown while Alyssa,her sister was wearing a dress that was a beautiful shade of blue.

Kelly finally was at the altar, Justin had taken her side. Everyone was sitting down. Kelly's stepfather was standing behind her and Justin. The minister spoke.
"Friends and family,we are here today to unite these two souls in marriage.I've seen happy couples many times,and let me say that Justin & Kelly look very happy.Marriage is a very sacred vow. These two people are deeply in love and God smiles upon their union.Now,may I ask who gives away this woman?"

"Her mother and I do",Mr. Taylor responded after a small pause.
"Very well.Justin,repeat after me. I Justin Guarini."

Justin was looking at Kelly as she repeated the age old vows. A smile crossed his face,Kelly graciously returned the smile.
"Now the rings."
Kelly turned to Alyssa and handed her the bouqet. Alyssa then handed her the ring. Justin bent down to the ringbearer's height and gently picked the ring up off of the heart shaped pillow.
"Justin,repeat after me with this ring as a token of my love and appreciation I thee wed."
"With this ring as a token of my love and appreciation,I thee wed."
He slid the ring onto Kelly's finger. She smiled at him once more as she heard her mother burst into tears. It was really happening,she was getting married.
"Kelly,repeat after me with this ring as a token of my love and appreciation I thee wed."
"With this ring as a token of my love and appreciation I thee wed."
She placed the ring on Justin's finger. Kelly's heart soared as her eyes blinked a couple of tears.
"Is there anyone here who does not want this couple to be wed,speak now or forever hold your peace."
Silence.
The minister smiled.
"In that case,I pernounce you both husband and wife. Justin,you may kiss your bride."
Bride,Justin liked the sound of that.
They embraced on a long kiss as their family and friends applauded. It happend. They were married. It was wonderful.

That night in the honeymoon suite......

Giggles could be heard throughout the room. Kelly was giggling like a school girl as Justin placed kisses on her neck. She felt so out of control,and liked it. For once,she was happy.
Her legs started kicking the satin sheets as Justin was tickling her stomach. She said stop between fits of giggles but that just kept him going.
You couldn't find a happier couple in the hotel. For many hours,they had been tickling eachother and laughing histerically. It was heaven.
Kelly got out of bed.
"Where ya going,babe?"
"Jacuzzi time,big boy."
"Do we get to play in there too?"
"Uh huh.Come on now."

Justin chased her into the bathroom. They jumped in the jacuzzi butt naked. Kelly's hair was still in the wedding updo while Justin's was in braids. They were sitting in the jacuzzi,quiet. Kelly was leaning against Justin's warm body.Her head was resting on his dark chest. The room was dark except for a couple of scented candles.
"Kelly,I want to um....gosh how do I say this."
"You want something,dear?"
"Yes."
Justin faced Kelly. He let his body become limp as he fell on her . Then,he entered her. A feeling shot through Kelly's body that had never been there. She placed her lips upon his and they kissed passionatly as they made love all through the night.
Two days later.....
The new couple had moved into their first apartment. Everything was already there and looked perfect. Kelly awoke early that morning,she was still in Justin's arms. She felt soothed and closed her eyes as she heard him speak in his deep sexual voice.
"Ooh,don't leave me baby."
That request touched Kelly's heart. She replied in a sexy tone,"I'm not going anywhere,sexy."
If anyone could seperate this couple,it would be hard. They were always together and it was special.
That afternoon,they were sitting on the couch watching tv. Something felt werid. Kelly sensed it.
"Just?"
"What is it,baby?"
"Do you ever want kids?"
"Now honey,I love kids just as much as the next man. Of course I want to be a father,why?"
"I was just wondering."
Silence.
"Do you think you're pregnant?"
"Um..no."
"Kell,you can say no now. But we won't know till next month,now won't we?''
"I guess so."
"I think you'll make a great Mommy."
"Really?"
"Yes. You acted so cool around my nephews and nieces that one time that we had to babysit."
"Aw.You rememebered!"
"I don't forget things."
Kelly felt werid after that conversation. Was she going to be a mother? She wasn't going to find out for another month,and she couldn't wait!

A month later......

Kelly slept late that morning which wasn't unsual. She had always been a sound sleeper. When she finally woke up,Justin was already dressed and had eaten breakfest. She stumbled into the kitchen.
"Well,good morning sleepyhead. How did you sleep?"
"Fine."
"Want some eggs?"
"Sure."
Justin put some fried eggs on a plate and set it on the table. Kelly sat down across from him and he watched her eat.
Normally,Kelly was a talker but today she seemed to be bothered by something. Justin could sense this.
"Something wrong,Honey?"
Kelly sighed and kept eating.
"Kellbell,normaly you chit-chat but today you're gripey what is wrong?"
"You wanna know what's wrong? I'll tell you. My period's late."
"And that means?"
"It means I'm pregnant,dodohead!"
Justin gasped,his wife was pregnant. This had to be some sort of dream it just didn't seem right.
"Are you positive?"
"Not really. I'm gonna take a pregnancy test. I bought some yesterday at Wal-Mart."
"You do that."
An Hour later.....
"Kells,is it done yet?"
"Almost,baby."
"I can't wait much longer."
"You're not the one who could be expecting."
"How much longer?"
"Just about....now

Kelly opened the door and let Justin in to see the results.
"I'm too nervous,Just. You look."
Justin picked up the test and stared at it.
"What does pink mean?"
Kelly picked up the box and said"Pink means..

What does pink mean?"
"Oh god."
"What?"
"It means I'm pregnant.We're going to be parents."
Justin let out a silent cheer and hugged his now-expecting wife.
"Yes! Yes! Whoohoo!"
"You're not mad?"
"Babe,I had a feeling that you were.This is surreal.Are you happy?"
"Hell yeah! Gosh,to think that a tiny little person is growing inside of me is just a miracle."
"I know. We gotta call your folks."
"They are gonna freak!"
Kelly got the phone and call a familar number. She was so excited. Her mother answered.
"Hello,Taylor residence."
"Momma?"
"Kellbell! I've been worried about ya. How are you,sweetheart?"
"I'm fine,Momma.I have something to tell you."
"What is it,baby?"
"I'm pregnant!"
Kelly heard her mother scream with happiness.
"You are? This is wonderful. Congradulations!"
"Thanks. Can you tell Jimmy,Jason and Alyssa for me?"
"Sure,babydoll. I'm gonna be a grandmother"giggles"."
"I'll see you soon,k?"
"Ok.Bye."
"Bye Momma."
Kelly hung up the phone and immediately felt ill. She rushed into the bathroom and had her first fight with morning sickness. Justin heard her and stood in the doorway till she was finished.
"Did you call your parents?"
"Yes. Mom is excited! You should call your mom and Jerry. I know they're gonna be happy."
"I'm gonna do that. I was just checking to see if you were ok."
"Dear,this is morning sickness."
"I noticed."
"Go call them."
Justin went and dialed his parents' phone number.
''Hello?"
"Mom?"
"Justin! How are you?"
"I'm fine,Mom."
"Is Kelly doing all right?"
"That's why I called. We have some good news."
"What?"
"We're gonna have a baby."
"Oh my god! That's wonderful,sweetie.When did you find out?"
"Today.Its still very unreal to me."
"It will be like that till she starts to show."
"Excuse me?"
"When Kelly gets the pregnancy belly then it will be real."
"Oh okay. I got to go,now. Bye Mom."
"Bye."
That night
Justin rested his hand on Kelly's stomach. The thought of a baby growing in there was still very unreal but he knew it was happening. Kelly was already asleep,but Justin's nerves were having the best of him. What if he was a terrible father? He didn't want to think about the future. Today had been a pleasent surprise.
"Just,are you still awake?"
"Yeah.You?"
"A little. Something bothering you?"
"Uh huh.I'm worried that you and the baby are not going to be healthy."
"Honey,everything is gonna be fine. Trust me on this,okay?''
"Okay. What do you want it to be?"
"Personally I want a girl."
"I want a boy!"
"I like the name Allison for a girl."
"Allison......that's pretty."
"Aw."
"It really is. Allison will be the name for the baby if we have a girl."
"What about a boy?"
"I was thinking about the name Daniel."
"Daniel is nice. But I like the name Noah."
"Noah Daniel.That's beautiful,Kell."
"Or if its a girl Allison Michelle."
"I like that."
"You do?"
"Yes."
''I like it too."
The expectant parents slept well that night and hoped that their child would grow into a wonderful person.

Three months later....

Kelly's pregnancy belly was just starting to show. Her morning sickness had been replaced by out of control mood swings and crazy cravings. Justin was being very supportive of her during this hard time. Today was their first doctor's appointment.

Kelly woke up earlier than usual. Justin was still sound asleep. She smiled and started kissing him up and down his naked chest. He finally woke up.
"Morning,honey."
''You're up early."
"The baby was keeping me awake.Kicking. This kid don't like to be messed with."
"Someone's got an attitude problem."
"Yup.Today's the day."
"For what?"
"We'll find out the sex of our baby."
"Aw.I'm excited."
"Me too.''
They ate breakfest and got to the doctor's on time.

"Good morning,Mrs.Guarini."
"Morning Dr. Andrewson."
"So,lets get a look at your baby."
The doctor turned on the ultrasound machine and the baby's picture appeared.
"This is your baby."
Kelly's eyes filled with tears. Her heart lept. This was real. Her baby was really there.
"So,I think you two wanna know if this is a boy or girl.Correct?"
"Yeah."
"Okay.You've got yourselves a little boy."
"Serious?"
"Ma'am.I wouldn't lie to you.Congradulations."
The baby was no longer an it. It had a name,a gender.
On the way home,Kelly was whispering to her stomach. She was still in a little shock. Justin was in a good mood. He always wanted a little boy.Now he was getting the chance to teach him how to ride a bike and play catch.
"Kell?"
"Yes."
"How you doing?"
"I'm fine. I'm just so excited that we've got a boy."
"I know. I want to change the name that we want to give him."
"Okay.What?"
"I like the name Jacob."
"Jacob? Its nice."
"You don't like it?"
"Not really. What about Jordan or Taylor?"
"Both are nice.I really like Taylor."
"I've got it! We'll name him Ethan."
Justin thought about for a second.
"Ethan Taylor Guarini,it has a nice ring to it."
"Then that's what we'll name him."
"Can I talk to him?"
"Yeah.He won't hear you very well.But you can try."
"Okay."
Justin started talking to the small bump between his wife's chest and hips.
"Hey Ethan.This is Daddy. Um,I just want to say that I'm excited to meet you. Don't hurry to get here. We love you,son."
Kelly spoke,"Yes.We really do."
Then she bent over and kissed her stomach.
Ethan. He was not even alive and in their arms but already he was loved.

For the next five months,Kelly and Justin were busy getting their son's nursery ready. There had been many debates over what color to paint the walls and what kind of wallpaper border they should put up but it was all worth it.

One evening,Kelly sat in the rocking chair in the nursery taking it all in. She couldn't believe that just three years ago,she was a single gal and now she was married and expecting. She loved Justin a lot. He was her best friend. And she knew that together they could raise baby Ethan into a strong,loving,man like his father.

Kelly slowly rocked back and forth. She felt two hands on her shoulders. Immediately,she jumped out of her chair.
"Jesus Christ! Don't do that,Justin! You trying to put me into labor?"
"No.I just wanted to surprise you,baby."
Slowly,Kelly sat back down into the chair. Her eyes were squinched up,she looked like she was having some pain.
Justin was alarmed. Was something wrong with his wife and son?
"Kells,is something wrong?"
"Honey,um I think we need to go to the hospital NOW!"
"But its too soon."
"I DON'T CARE,I'M HAVING CONTRACTIONS!"
Justin went into a panic,he grabbed Kelly's suitcase,ran outside,threw it in the car. Then,he ran back inside and helped Kelly out to the car.

At the hospital....
Justin's hands were shaking as he sat in the lonesome,dark waiting room. It had been confirmed that Kelly was in labor. She wasn't supposed to deliver for another month but it was supposedly time.
Almost immediately after Kelly had been checked in,she was rushed to the operating room for a C-section. The baby wasn't moving at all,and she knew of that. When Justin scared her,it sent panic and stress to her brain which started the early contractions.
Justin's eyes were red from crying. He felt so responsible and useless. Whatever was happening to Kelly and the baby was out of his hands. He couldn't stop it and make everything back to the way it was. No,it was God's choice.

The operating room door opened,Justin jerked his head up to see Dr.Andrewson standing there.
"Justin?"
"Yes?"
"Come here."
Justin came to the doctor.
"Is she all right?"
"Kelly's fine.But we ran into a small problem."
"What is it doctor?"
"When we got baby Ethan out,he wasn't breathing. His face was gray and his body was limp. After performing CPR for several minutes,we finally got him to breathe on his own."
"Is Ethan stable?"
"He's fine. Early,but fine none the less."
"Can I see him?"
"I'll bring the bassinet out to you.Your wife is in recovery.She wants to see you after she wakes up."
"Thanks,Dr.Andrewson."
"You're welcome,Justin. Congradulations."
The doctor left and Justin sat down again. He felt different. Less than five hours ago,he was just a married man but now he was a father.
A nurse came with the bassinet. She wheeled it over to Justin.
"Sir,I have someone that I think you should meet."
She slowly picked up the small infant that was sleeping.
"Is this?"
"This is your son,Ethan Taylor."
She handed the infant to Justin and smiled.
"That little guy is a fighter. We almost lost him,but he's better now."
"Thank you ma'am."
"My pleasure."
She left Justin alone. This was not a dream but a reality. Justin was really a father.
He looked down at the sleeping baby. His little eyes were closed,his fingers had been cruled up into tiny fists. Justin watched his chest move up and down. Breathing. It made him feel so different.
"Hey there,little guy.I can't believe you're here,Ethan. I was so worried about you and your Mom. But you two are the strongest people that I know.I can't wait till you're older,so I can teach you how to throw a ball and ride a bike. You're my buddy,Ethan. I might have only know you for 5 minutes but I love you already."
If anyone had looked at this they would have thought nothing of it. But this was something that Justin would remember for the rest of his life.

Three hours later....
Ethan was taken back into the nursery. Justin was heartbroken to see him go. He decided to go see Kelly. After a long debate with Dr. Andrewson,he went back there.

Kelly had just woken up and was sorta shocked to see her husband sitting by her bedside.
"Hey,you."
"Hi. Is he?"
"Ethan's fine,Kell. He's perfect."
"That's a relief. For a moment I thought we lost him."
"I know,baby.I know."
"How much did he weigh?"
"5 pound 7 ounces. Dr. Bishop says that she wants to keep him in neonatal intensive care untill he's 6 pounds."
"Good. I knew something was wrong when they said he wasn't moving. I knew it."
"Hush,baby. Its all right now."
Kelly could no longer hold back her tears and cried.
"Are all new mothers like this?"
"Just,the nurse said its hormones.Damn hormones,I hate them,HATE THEM!"
"Christ. Its okay."
"I want to hold my baby boy in my arms,can I please?"
"I'll go ask a nurse."
Justin went down the hall and bumped into a nice young nurse.
"Ma'am,I was wondering if my wife and I could see our infant son?"
"Um,you're Mr.Guarini right?"
"Yes. Ethan is my son's name."
"Well,I'll bring him to you and your wife,ok?"
"Sure,thanks."
"No prob."
Justin went back to see Kelly.
"Honey,they're going to bring Ethan to us."
"Good."
The nurse came with the baby and gently gave him to Kelly.
Then,she left the room.
"He's so tiny,Justin."
"I know.Hey there,baby boy."
Ethan started to open his eyes.
"Does he know that we are his parents?"
"Probably not."
"Oh."
Ethan was awake but he didn't cry. He seemed to be very content in his mother's arms.
"He's got your eyes."
"Kell,he's a newborn.How can we tell whose eyes he has yet?"
"True."
"Ethan,we love you son. You're our everything. I know you're gonna grow up into a strong man like your daddy,hopefully you won't have his hair.."
"Hey don't diss the fro!"
Kelly laughed softly.
"You just keep growing up,okay? We want to take you home,ASAP. You're our little guy."
She handed him to Justin.
"Hi there,buddy. Um,like your Mommy said we want you to get healthier. You're so small and that's not a good thing,bud. You keep growing up for us."

A nurse came and gently took the baby away from them.
"Just,what are we gonna do?"
"What do ya mean?
"We're parents to a premature baby."

"Come on,Kell. Things could be worse."
''I just wanted him to be born on time and to be healthy."

Nobody knew it then,but Ethan had listened to his parents. He was trying to gain some weight.

Five years later.....

Sure enough,within a week Ethan had gained enough weight to be moved into the regular nursery. Within five hours of his moving,Ethan went home for the first time with his parents.
He grew up into a active little boy. His personality was so sweet and charming. Ethan had his father's hair and his mother's eyes and face. He was gonna be a tall dark guy but his sense of humor was priceless.

After Ethan's birth,Kelly and Justin graduated from college. She went into teaching like her mother. Kelly loved teaching kids,it was something she had wanted to do for her whole life.
Justin worked with computers for a short time but after Kelly had more babies he became a stay-at-home dad an enjoyed it.

More children? Yup. Ethan was a big brother. When he was two,Kelly's period was late...again and nine months later she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Allison Elizabeth. Allison {or Allie as her parents called her} was very special to Kelly and Justin. When Justin and Ethan went outside to play in the sandbox or something,Kelly always spent time with Allie.
Allie had her mother's hair,like Ethan she was dark. Allie had recently turned two years old. She was a rather short kid but her parents loved her nonetheless.


One beautiful September morning,Justin awoke to the alarm clock blarring in his ears. He groaned and glanced at the clock.
6:30 AM
He knew Kelly had set it at that time just to wake him up. He loved his wife but hated the fact that she always woke up so early and came home tired.
He stumbled over to the bathroom door and heard the shower going. Knowing that it was probably his wife,Justin just opened the door and sturted on in.

Kelly was just getting out of the shower and Justin saw things that he wasn't supposed to see.{if you catch my drift }

"Justin! Have you ever heard of knocking?!"
"Sorry honey. What time are you supposed to be at work?"
"Seven."
"You still have a little time to snuggle with me,don't ya?"
"Sorry. I have to get Ethan ready for his first day and have to wake up Allie."
"Honey,I can get Allie if you want me to."
"Would you? Thanks."
"No prob."

Justin left the room so Kelly could dress in privacy and went to check on Allie.
Allison's room was very beautiful and girly. The carpet that was orginally a light shade of green had been replaced with pink. The white walls had been painted a light shade of lavender. Kelly and Justin got to design the room before Allie's birth because they already knew that she was a girl.

Justin quietly walked up to the bed and watched his baby girl sleep for a second. It was like Allison had a sixth sense,because after Justin started watching her she opened her eyes and looked up at her Dad. Justin picked her up and hushed her.
"Hush now,Allison.I'm here."
Allison knew her father's soothing voice and immediately started talking.
"That's my girl."
He helped her dress and took her into the kitchen were Kelly was waiting.
"She woke up already?
"Yup.But she's all right."
He put Allison is a chair and went over to Kelly.
"Allie do you love your daddy?"
"Oh yah! Daddy's my daddy."
Allison let out a cute little giggle. She loved it when her parents were friendly towards her.

After Allison ate breakfest,Kelly went to Ethan's room. His room had been decorated with stuff little boys liked{football,baseball,etc......}. Her little boy was still sleeping. His little brown body was tucked under a blue blanket that he had had since birth. He was wearing racing car pajamas.
Kelly sat down on his bed and gently stroked his cruly brown hair.
"Ethan....Ethan...time to wake up,baby."
Ethan was a sound sleeper like his dad. It always took Kelly more than two times to wake him up.
"Ethan...you don't want to be late,do ya?"
Ethan's little eyes slowly started to open. He yawned and sat up,looking his mother in the face.
"Momma,I'm so excited!"
"I know you are babe.Kindergarden is a big thing.Daddy's gonna pick you up today after Allie's doctor's appointment."
"When will ya be home to play?"
"I won't be home till five. Don't worry about me buddy."
"I'm hungry.I want breakfest!"
At that,Allison started yelling for her Mom. Kelly paniced a little. She had never been alone with her two babies while Allie was a little fussy.
Then she heard something that would touch her heart for the rest of her life.
"Aw. Don't cry,Allie.Big brothy is here."
Allison stopped crying and smiled at her brother. Times like these always filled Kelly's heart with love for her children.

The rest of the morning went smoothly. Kelly took Ethan with her when she went to work at 6:45 leaving Allison and Justin by themselves.

Allison was watching tv when Kelly left with Ethan to go to work. Justin had never been left alone with Allie before and didn't know what to expect. Yes,he had been alone with his son countless times but this was an infant.

Justin decided to watch his baby girl . She was laying down on a soft blanket in the middle of the living room. Her little eyes were glued to the tv. A smile crossed his face as he remembered the day he found out about Allison.
*Flashback*
"Kelly,what's wrong? You've been ignoring me all day and you've been bitchy?" "I don't want to talk about it!" "There you go again! What's wrong babe,you can tell me." Kelly sat down on the couch and cried in her hands. Justin was filled with compassion for his wife. He sat down beside her and started rubbing her back."You can tell me." "Just,I'm late." "Does that mean..." "Yes.We're having another baby."
End flashback

His flashback was interupted by Allison's loud laughing . Justin smiled as he saw Allison laugh at the cartoon on tv.
"What are ya laughing at,Allie?"
"Blue's acting crazy,Daddy!Its funny!"
Justin saw that on tv and started laughing along with Allie but then it got annoying.
She stopped laughing. The silence was appreciated. Justin let out a breath of relief. It wasn't long before Allison fell asleep again.

The rest of the day went by smoothly,Justin wondered what was happening with Kelly and Ethan. He was anixous to find out how Ethan's first day went

At around 1:15,Justin realized that Allison had a doctor's appointment. He quickly woke her up and got to the doctor's office. Allison's dr,Dr. Bishop,was already waiting for them when they arrived.
"Hello Mr.Guarini.Hi there,Allie,"she said when they walked through the door.
"Dr,Mr.Guarini is my stepfather.I'm Justin."
"Oh I forgot.Sorry about that Justin."
"Its all right."
"Well know,let's weigh Allie to see how much she's grown."

Justin followed Dr.Bishop into a room that had a scale and a growth chart in it.
"All right,hand me Allison and let's get started."
Justin led Allison over to the scale.
"Well,she's gained a pound since I last saw her."
"Is that good?"
"Yes. 30 pounds is a good weight for her considering that you are tall and slender and so is Ethan."
"That's a relief.Has she grown in height?"
"Yup.Allison's 3ft 5 inches now. Growing up so fast."

Allison was perfectly happy during this. She liked visiting the doctor. Soon,the doctor's visit was over. Justin paid the bill and took Allison out to the car. He strapped her in and drove to Ethan's school.

Ethan was sitting on the front steps,a nice looking little red haired girl was sitting next to him. When Justin walked over to them,Ethan was talking to the little girl like it was no big deal.
"Hey Ethan."
"Dad! You came just like Momma promised!"
"I wouldn't lie to you,buddy.Who's your little friend?"
Ethan blushed.
"Daddy,this is mah girlfriend Heather."
When Heather looked Justin in the eye,he was a bit taken back. This girl looked like Kelly's best friend Amanda. Could this be?
"Hi.I'm Heather Gil."
"Nice to meet ya,Heather.I'm Ethan's dad."
"Ethan's mah bestest friend!"
"Aw."
Justin felt a hand on his shoulder. He slowly turned around and saw AJ.
"Hey AJ. What's up man?"
"Long time no see,huh? I'm a married man now,J. Heather's mah little girl."
"Is Amanda?"
"Oh yeah. We're married. Heather's gonna be a big sister soon."
"That's wonderful.Ethan's already got a little sis."
Justin showed AJ,the very awake Allison who was holding his hand.
"Justin,she's beautiful man. How old is she?''
"I'm Two!"
"Aw."
He smiled at the baby and then at Justin.
"Well,come on Heather.Mommy has to go to the doctor and she don't wanna be late."
"Okay!Bye E-thin! Bye Mr.E-thin's dad."

As Justin was putting Ethan in the car next to Allison. Ethan was humming.
"What are you hummin buddy?"
"Oh. Nothin'."
"Come on now."
"Ok.Its a song that Heather teached me."
"Are you and Heather buddies?"
"Yah.She my bestest friend."
As Justin drove his two precious babies home,he realized that maybe just maybe Heather and Ethan might be more than best friends later on in life.

Four years later....

Kelly slamed the door to her car and cried as she drove down the highway. She couldn't believe what she had just been told. Why did this always have to happen at what seemed to be the wrong time in her life? She loved her husband and children,did God have this planned the whole time? She hoped so.

She finally got home and ran through the pouring rain to her house. Allison was sitting on the couch watching cartoons. She was only 6 but she had a feeling something was up.
"Mommy,are you ok?"
"Allie,where's Daddy and Ethan?"
"Ethan's in his room. Daddy's downstairs."
Kelly went to Ethan's room and knocked on the closed door.
"Ethan,sweetheart I need to tell you something.Can you come in the living room please?"

She heard Ethan sigh loudly.
"Okay.I'll be down in a bit."

Kelly then went downstairs.Justin was sitting on the couch,drinking a Pepsi and watching baseball.
"Honey?"
"Hum?"
"Can you come upstairs for a minute,its important."
" K."
Justin followed Kelly into the living room where their two precious children were.
"Mom,what's wrong?"
"Yeah,Mommy are you ok?"
Kelly took a deep breath.
"Its a good thing y'all are sitting down."
"Why?"
"Listen,I went to the doctor today because lately I've been feeling sick and grouchy."
"And?"
"And well,I'm pregnant."

Ethan and Justin both let out a breath of relief. They thought it was something else.
"Momma,does that mean that I'm gonna be a big brother?"
"Yes.Ethan,Allison you're going to get a baby brother or sister."
Allison jumped off the couch and ran over to her mother.
"Is it here yet?"
"Is what here,Allie?"
"The baby,silly!"
"Oh no,the baby won't be here for another eight months."
"But I wanna see it."
"You will.Its just gonna be a while."
"Oh okay."
"Mom?"
"Yes,Ethan?"
"Are you having a boy or a girl?"
"I don't know yet,sweetheart.But no matter what happens,you and Allie will always be my babies."

Justin was just sitting in the recliner taking all of this in. He was in complete shock.Yes,he loved his children and his wife but didn't expect this.
That night,when he and Kelly went to bed he voiced his opinon about the newest addtion to the family.
"Kell?"
''Yes,dear?"
"I was thinking about the baby. I'm happy and everything but I'm surprised and scared."
"What do you mean,sweetie?"
"I mean,gosh this is hard to say.I mean that I'm scared because whenever Allie and Ethan were small I got jumpy and nervous whenever I was around them."
"Honey,its going to be okay.You're not the one carrying it inside of you."
Justin's mood softened.
"Yeah,I guess I'm not."
"I know its early but do you have any names that you like?"
"Well,to tell ya the truth.I kinda want another little girl."
"Why is that?"
"Allie was so much easier to be around.It was like a mini you."
"Aw,really?"
"Yeah.I like boys but I guess I'm kinda femine."
"I like the name Laura."
"Laura....that's nice but not one of my favorties."
"What do you like?"
"For a boy I like Matthew or Eric."
"Eric Matthew. That's nice.I like it."
"Me too.For a girl,I really like Kylie."
"Kylie....that's pretty honey."
"Really?"
"Yes.Kylie Angela will be its name if we get a girl."
"I really want it to be here."
"You can wait."
"I just want to know if its a girl or a boy."
"We'll know in three months,okay?"
"Ok.Night,sweetheart."
"Good night,honey."
They kissed and went to sleep.

Eight months later,Kelly and Justin welcomed their second daughter,Kylie Angela. Ethan and Allison were very eager to see their little sister. Kylie was born a little premature but other than that she was absolutely perfect. After her birth,the family moved to a bigger house near the place where the Gils lived. Ethan was a little shy around Heather. Even though they had been friends for a while it bothered him.

Four years later....
Ethan was running to catch up with the bus.His little sister,Allison who was now ten was already ahead of him.
"Come on Ethan! Hurry up!"
Ethan went on top speed. Then he bumped into somebody.
"Watch where you're going!"
"Its not my fault you don't have no sense of direction!"
Ethan looked up at the person he bumped into.
"Heather?"
"Ethan?"
She helped him up.
"Thanks."
"No prob.You're late too?"
"Yeah.Kylie was sick this morning."
"Save your breath,my brothers all had the flu last night.Mom and Dad never got any rest."
"That sucks."
"Totally.Hey do you wanna go to the arcade with me after school?"
"Sure.But I thought boys asked girls out."
"Its not a date,idiot.Its just for fun."
"Okay.I'll go."
"Catch ya later,Ethan."
Heather got back on her skateboard and went on to school leaving Ethan behind.
"Why do I always get so nervous when I'm around her? I like her as a friend and that's all...but maybe there's something else.Gosh,she's so pretty.Holy shit! I think I'm falling for Heather Gil!"

After Ethan got home from the arcade,he decided to tell his dad about his newfound feelings for Heather.

Justin was in his and Kelly's room napping. Ethan really didn't want to disturb him but felt that it was now or never.
"Dad?"
He saw Justin move a little.
"Dad?"
"WHAT?!"
Justin was fully awake and not in his best mood. But when he saw his only son standing in the doorway,he knew something was up.
"Sorry about that,Ethan. What's up?"
"Dad,there's this girl that I like. But I really didn't even know that I liked her till today. She's so funny and pretty and smart and just absoutely beautiful."
"Ethan,who is this girl?"
"Heather."
"Hum.So you like Heather Gil?"
"Yeah.I know you and her dad are tight."
"Yup we are. This is sorta hard for me to believe. Ethan,you've got that old Guarini charm about ya.There's no doubt about it.Your feelings for Heather are really not stupid.You're growing up now,son."
"Its just when I'm around her...."
"You feel stupid and act nervous?"
"Exactly."
"Listen,its all apart of growing up.I went through when I was your age."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"So what should I do?"
"Tell Heather the truth.Girls like honest men.''
"Okay.Thanks Dad."
"Come here and give your old man a hug."
Ethan came to his father and gave him a nice,long,warm hug.
"That's my boy.Now go on and play with ya friends."
"Ok."

As Ethan left,Justin had a smile on his face.His little boy was growing up right before his eyes.

The next day,Ethan decided to tell Heather how he really felt about her. He didn't know when to tell her or what to say,so he went to his mother for advice.
Kelly was in the living room playing "Candyland" with Kylie. Ethan really didn't want to talk about his problems infront of his little sister.
"Mom??"
"Ethan! Whata surprise. Do you want to play with us?"
"No,I want to talk to you."
"Can you wait for just a sec?"
"Yeah."
Kelly directed her attention to Kylie.
"Ky,I'm gonna talk with Ethan for a minute.I'll come back and play when I'm done,okay sweetie?"
"Otay."
Kelly stood up.
"What's wrong,baby?"
"Can we talk about this in your room or something?"
"Sure."
They went into Kelly's room.
"So,what's on your mind."
"Mom,I have feelings for Heather and I want to tell her.Dad said that I should."
"Ethan,you and Heather have been friends for as long as I can remember. You should tell her how you feel.It would make you feel better when you're around her."
"You really think so?"
"I know so."
"Aw.Thanks Mom."
"Anytime,sweetheart."

Ethan knew the time was right. He went over to Heather's house and rang the doorbell.
Heather answered.She was wearing a beautiful pink tanktop and a demin skirt.Her brown hair had been pulled back into a ponytail.
"Ethan.Hi,what are you doing here?"
"Heather,I need to tell you something important."
"What?"
''I really don't want to tell you here.Can we go on a walk?"
"Sure."
Heather came out onto the front porch and went for a walk with Ethan.
"Ethan,what's wrong?You're acting like you don't want to be around me."
"Heather,look I know we've been friends for a long time. And I really don't want to hurt that but the truth is..."
"I like you."
"What?"
"Ethan,I like you.I really do."
"That's a relief because I like you too."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
Ethan blushed,he was so happy that Heather felt the same way that he did.
"Heather,do you wanna be my girlfriend?"
"Yeah.This is so exciting! I have a boyfriend now!"

Then Ethan did something that he would never regret doing.
"Can I kiss you?"
"What?"
"Can I kiss you?"
"I don't see why not."
Ethan took Heather into his arms and pressed his lips against hers.He couldn't believe that this was happening....
His first kiss had just happend.

Ethan and Heather had been boyfriend and girlfriend for five years. They were very happy together and didn't let anyone else come between them. Ethan had just turned 18,it was very close to Senior Prom. He wanted to ask Heather but was really nervous.

At lunch,Ethan was sitting with his football buddies while Heather was eating with her Volleyball friends. Ethan knew it was now or never.He got up and walked over to her.
Heather saw him and a smile crossed her face. Secretly,she really wanted to go to prom with him.
"Heather,I was wondering."
"Yes?"
"Um,Prom's comming up and I wanna know if you want to go with me?"
"Yeah.I'll go with you."
"Really?"
"Yeah!I was just waiting for you to ask!"
"Cool.Do you want to get a burger after school?"
"Ok.I'll meet you outside the boys' locker room after cheerleading."
"Sounds good."
"Ok.Bye Ethan."
Ethan walked back to his table,he really loved Heather and wanted to let her know.

After school.

Ethan had met Heather at the entrance to the locker room after her cheerleading practice and his track meet.
"Heather! Ready to go?"
"Yeah."
They went outside and got into Ethan's Mustang. For a while he just drove around and everything was quiet.
"Ethan,is something wrong?"
"Heather,I love you.You know that,right?"
"Yes.I love you too."
"And I couldn't picture myself with anyone else. So,do you wanna go steady?"
"Um..okay."
When they got to the burger place,Ethan and Heather just talked about friends and school and stuff.
When Ethan got home that night,he realized something.
He loved Heather.Nobody else could come between. And now that they were seniors it wouldn't be long before they were out in the real world.
Then a thought hit him.
Ethan wanted to marry Heather.

Prom Night

Ethan paced across the living room floor in a state of nervousness. In less than three hours,he would pick up Heather and go to prom with her. Ethan had no idea what Heather was wearing or what she looked like.

Allison {Ethan's almost 16 year old sister} was watching him do this.
"Ethan,why are you so nervous?"
"I don't know!"
"You've known Heather for like ever."
"Duh."
"Oh.I know why..."
"Why?"
"Is it because you've never seen Heather in a dress? And you're worried that you won't look good?"
"Um..yeah."
"Boyz are so complicated."

"Don't call me Allison.I'm Allie."
"Mom calls you her little Allie-wallie.Do you want me to call you that?"
"Do and you die."

Kelly came in the room just as Allison and Ethan were getting ready to fight.
"Stop it! Both of you.Ethan,go to Heather's house.Allison,you...go upstairs and play with your playstation or something."

Three hours later.....
Ethan picked up Heather at about 9 PM. She looked beautiful. They went out to eat at a nice resturant and went to prom.
While they were there,Ethan knew it was time to propose.
He took Heather outside. She was oblivious to what was about to take place.
"Heather,we've known eachother for a long time."
"Yeah."
"You know that I love you more than life itself and that I would never leave you."
"Yes..."
"Heather Christina Gil,will you marry me?"
Ethan took out the ring box and opened it. Inside was a beautiful diamond engagement ring.
"Ethan,I'll marry you!"
She stood up and they had their first dance as an engaged couple.

After the prom was over,Ethan came home to his parents who were a little stressed out.His mother was crying,Justin was upset and Allison was sitting on the couch looking at her feet.
"Mom?"
"Ethan.Thank god you're home."
Allison made a gagging noise and went into the kitchen to get something to eat. Ethan found this strange.
"Mom,what's wrong?Is something wrong with Dad or Allie or Kylie?"
"I better let Allison tell you."
"Tell me what?"
"DON'T ASK QUESTIONS!"
Allison came back with a granola bar and sat back down.
"Allison,tell your brother your news."
"Why can't you?"
"DO IT!"
"Okay.Jeez,look you know that my boyfriend is Brandon."
"Yeah."
"Well,his parents are Mom and Dad's friends..."
"So?"
"I'm not finished.About three months ago,I found out that I was pregnant."
"You're pregnant?Allie,how could you?"
"Jesus,I don't need another lecture.I'm gonna raise this kid."
"Does Brandon and his folks know?"
"Yeah.RJ and Tamrya were mad at first but now they're cool with it."
"When were you gonna tell the rest of us?"
"I would have told you soon.But now since I'm showing I figured its now or never."
"Oh.Well,I've got some news too."
"What is it?''
"Mom,Dad,Allie,Allie's baby,um I proposed to Heather tonight."
"Did she say yes?"
"Yeah."
Kelly stood up.She couldn't take this.
"My babies are all grown up. Ethan's engaged and Allison's expecting.I'm so glad Kylie's not doing anything."

Kelly and Justin went to bed. After Ethan brushed his teeth,he heard Allison crying.He went to check on her.
"Allie?"
"Ethan,I'm fine.Go away."
"I can tell something's wrong."
"Its a mood swing.Just go away."
"Tell me what's wrong."
"Brandon wants to marry me."
"And?"
"I don't know what I want!I love him and I'm pregnant.What should I do?"
"Do you want your kid to have two loving parents?"
"Yeah."
"Then marry him!"
"You know what?I will.Thanks Ethan."
She hugged her big brother.Which was something she never did.
As Ethan pulled away,Allison's face lit up.
"What's going on?"
"It kicked!Wanna feel?"
Ethan placed a hand on his sister's womb.
He felt it.
"Wow.That felt werid.I'm going to bed.Night."
"Night,Ethan."
Ethan fell asleep an hour later. He felt so strange.He was engaged and going to be an uncle.What next?

Six months later, Allison went into labor at the Heltons' house with her now fiancee,his parents RJ and Tamrya,and Allison's parents by her side. She was taken immediately to the hospital and 19 hours later ,her daughter Kristen Alexis Helton came into the world. Kristen was 7 pounds 8 ounces and 21 inches in height. A beautiful combination of Brandon and Allison,she looked Mexican,but had Allison's smile and eye color.
Ethan and Heather Gil had postponed their wedding. It was supposed to be held in December,but after Kristen's birth.They decided to wait a couple of years to get to know eachother a little bit better. Allison and Brandon,however were married on July 18th,almost eight months after their daughter was born. It was a quiet and small ceremony.

Kylie was growing up too. She was the only Guarini child that didn't have a life changing celebration comming up. She was now 10 years old and drop dead beautiful.

The day that Ethan and Heather had been waiting for had arrived. It was their wedding day. Ethan woke up early that morning.He hadn't slept much that night before because he was so nervous. It wasn't long before h

his parents,and baby sister were up and dressed for the wedding. Ethan's best man would be his brother-in-law Brandon.Heather's bridesmaids would be her cousins Tiffani,Nikki,and Olivia. Kristen,would be her flower girl. Kylie would be a candle lighter and Allison was the matron of honor.

The time had arrived. Ethan was standing beside Brandon at the front of the church. In all of his 20 years of life,he had never been more nervous. His parents were sitting on the front row. Kelly was smiling at him. This was the moment that she had been somewhat dreading since her son was born.
As Heather walked up the aile,she remembered special moments in Ethan's life.

By the time Heather was halfway to Ethan,Kelly had remembered all of Ethan's difficult birth and his toddler years. And when Heather was holding Ethan's hand in front of the minister,she was in tears.

The minister spoke."We are gathered here today to join in holy matromony,Ethan Guarini and Heather Gil. Marriage is a very special sacrament. Its not to be taken lightly"

"I remember when Ethan's parents married almost 21 years ago. They looked exactly like these two. But they've lasted through a lot and I can tell this will make it till the end."

"I do."
"And do you,Heather take this man to be your husband? To have and to hold,to love and to cherish,in sickness and in health till death do you part?"

"The rings,please."
Ethan took the ring from the ring bearer and placed it on Heather's finger. Heather did the same to Ethan.
"If anyone doesn't object,I now pronounce you both husband and wife.Ethan,you may kiss your bride."

Ethan lifted Heather's veil and they shared a kiss like no other.

The ceremony had ended but the reception was just beginning and so was Ethan and Heather's life together.

The night after the reception...

Kelly was sitting in Ethan's old room. It was so quiet in there now. All of his prized things were with him now. He wasn't around anymore to be her little baby boy. He was 20 years old and a married man. She sighed as she leafed through Ethan's baby book. All the memories came flooding back and she buried her head into a pillow and cried.

"You miss him too?"
Kelly looked up to see Justin standing in the doorway.
"Justin....yeah I miss Ethan a lot."
"Honey,he's not dead or anything.He's just married and going to be living across town."
"I know.I'm just feeling sad. I mean last year,we had three children.And now only Kylie is living with us."
"I know baby.I know.I just need some alone time for a while."
"Okay.I'll be in our room if you need me."
"Thanx,I love you."
"Love ya too,sweetheart."

Kelly was left alone in Ethan's room. She picked up an old ratty teddy bear that she gave Ethan when he was an infant. She then walked into Allison's room.It was still exactly the same way as Allison kept it,clean. Kelly smiled as she picked up an old picture of Ethan,Allison,and Kylie. They were sitting in a swing acting competely goofy.

All of a sudden,Kelly heard the phone in Allison's room ring. She picked it up.
"Hello?"
"Mom,Hi.Its me,Allie."
"Hey sweetie.How are u doing?"
"We're doing great.Brandon's just wonderful and Kristi is growing up more everyday."
"That's great,honey.Are u comming over for Kylie's birthday next Sunday?"
"Heck yeah,Mom.We wouldn't miss for the world.I gotta go now,Kylie's calling for me."
"Okay,have fun Mom."
"I will.Bye,I love you."
"Love you too,sweetie."

As Kelly hung up the phone,she smiled. Even though Allison and Ethan were married and had moved away,their presense was still felt.She would always love them no matter what happend.

Ever since,Kelly had become a mother she felt stressed. But now for once she was relaxed and her life was complete.
